This was a cake for a wedding reception and the hostess let me decide how to decorate it. I knew the bride to bes' (how do you spell that?) colors and I just wanted a reason to make these butterflies. How cute would it be to completely cover a cake with little butterflies or make a swarm of butterfly cupcakes!
This was a 12" 5 layer Italian Cream cake with alternating layers of cream cheese frosting and vanilla cream.
I had to weigh it- 12 pounds (!!!!)
This is a pre-frosting picture next to an apple for size perspective (this ones for you Sharlie :)

Flower Pot Garden
I wish these would just stay like this forever- I would use them to decorate my window sill :) The red ribbon runs underneath each cupcake so the owner can use it to pull the cupcake out.

The MAN Cupcake

For Father's Day I saw a cute idea in a magazine for a cupcake and it got my mind turning. I have been wanting to make "candy broccoli" so I made a shish kabob with broccoli, pineapple, cherry tomatoes and 'meat' to cook on the grill along side a porter house and hot dogs.
Perfect guy cupcake- the cupcake is more brownie than cake! These would be fun for ANY barbecue this summer.
These jumbo cupcakes are $5 a piece and sold in a peek-a-boo box. Have a great Father's Day weekend!

GRADUATION DAY
Just for fun! These are for your own graduation party or to give to your favorite graduating friend!
These are fabulous (if I do say so myself) they will want to make you go back to school so you can graduate AGAIN (ok not really, but that SOUNDS good right?)
In lemon or chocolate- these cupcakes are topped with a cake pop (cake broken up and mixed with frosting and formed into a ball) then covered with White Chocolate Buttercream and your schools letters, colors, a cap and tassel! The cap is covered with sparkling black sugar.
(I am disappointed the picture is so dark but you get the idea!)
Large Boxed Jumbo "Capped" Cupcakes for your graduate friend are $5
A dozen regular sized "capped" cupcakes are $20
One fun option is to order a dozen regular cupcakes ($15 per dozen, you can see pictures in the post "Open House") and mix them with your graduation cupcakes.
