Say it special....

Cupcakes are a great way to say... I love you, Thank you, celebrate!! You can always personalize your cupcakes to make them unique. This friend wanted to give a special thank you to a nurse that came to the aid of her daughter on the school bus when she was having respiratory problems- so I thought "You make the world a better place" was appropriate! Hard to see in the picture but green sprinkles tied it all together. These were Yellow cupcakes with just a hint of lemon and Vanilla BTB,and Chocolate cupcakes with Orange BTB.

Sharks!!

Happy Birthday Kyle! These were made out of rice crispies and fondant. I have been loving my homemade fondant because it is so easy to color and the taste is better.

Delightful Dozens

Here are some pictures of what "by the dozen" looks like :)

Do you like the train table background? Just trying to be professional here.

BY THE DOZEN!

Finally! I am so excited my boxes came- they are darling. White boxes with a window to let you see your "delightful" cupcakes! These make a GREAT gift for any reason.

Any flavor is available by the dozen with 24 hours notice. For variety check out the weekly specials- Cupcakes are $15 per dozen.

This weeks FEATURED Delights are:

Chocolate Mint (chocolate cupcake with gorgeous green mint BTB frosting and mini chocolate chips)

Orange Cream
(vanilla cupcake with fluffy orange BTB frosting )

Peanut Butter Cup (chocolate cupcake with BTB peanut butter frosting and a mini pb cup!)

OK- just to clarify- BTB frosting is "Better Than Buttercream" This frosting is my own recipe that is my FAVORITE and is a light tasting frosting that is made with real butter but is just melts in your mouth. While I love a good butter cream anytime- this frosting needs a label of its own!

I am going to get back to my kitchen but will post some pictures soon! I may also have an almond cupcake today as well if time permits.

Call or email for orders and pick up times.

Not available for pick up on Sundays :)

Let them eat cake!

I heard that bananas and chocolate were the favorite for this birthday girl so I did three layers of chocolate cake and in between I placed fresh bananas, dark chocolate ganache and whipped banana cream pudding- then ganache poured over the whole thing. I knew this would be a messy cake (and it was) but that makes it a little more fun to eat right? And it got rave reviews.

This cake was a gift so I allowed my daughter to insist on the big whipped cream K on top- not the most professional but fun :)

Cakes are $30 and available to order in almost any flavor (24 hours notice please- additional charge for themed cakes with hand made decorations, themed cakes need 3 days notice)

Happy 4th of July!

Ok- of course- me and my photo shooting talent. After taking some pictures and sending the cupcakes off I realized there was frosting on my phone so they are a little blurry! But you get the idea I think. It was fun searching for all kinds of red candy for these- (there is a lot of red candy out there!) This flag was done with minis but would be so fun in regular size too. Maybe next year :)
The stars were little "Z's" for the family initial! When she ordered my friend Sharlie had the idea for family initial stars, so cute and personal. So of course I had to do a whole flag!
