Leaves are falling all around....

Great photo Kristen!
I chose a couple different kinds of leaves, cleaned them and painted chocolate!

Here was the birthday box with leaves placed on.

Little Acorns to go with the leaves

This was such a fun project- When Lisa called and wanted to order cupcakes for her birthday she wanted some kind of fall leaf so this is what I came up with. My daughter Natalie chose her own leaves to paint (she went with pink!) and I loved the way the colors blended and came together.I made the acorns thinking they would sit on the bottom of the leaf but the leaves were too big, oh well, maybe on a cake next time.
Happy Birthday Lisa!!

Pumpkins Pumpkins

Tis the season-MY FAVORITE SEASON, I love fall and anything related- I got a request for a Pumpkin themed baby shower- So cute! I loved coming up with these. Took a few tries to figure out how to get the swoop just right and not all over the place! I was going to make fondant stems but Costco was sampling these apple licorices (YUM!!!) and they work just perfectly.

These will make ANY occasion a squash- I mean SMASH! (I crack myself up)

These are available in regular or jumbo sized. (maybe mini too- I have to try it out!)
I just love these!!
This is a jumbo in its box.

They can be made on any flavor but these ones are pumpkin spice with a cake pop on top, then covered with BTB vanilla frosting and of course SPRINKLES!

Happy 4th of July!

Ok- of course- me and my photo shooting talent. After taking some pictures and sending the cupcakes off I realized there was frosting on my phone so they are a little blurry! But you get the idea I think. It was fun searching for all kinds of red candy for these- (there is a lot of red candy out there!) This flag was done with minis but would be so fun in regular size too. Maybe next year :)
The stars were little "Z's" for the family initial! When she ordered my friend Sharlie had the idea for family initial stars, so cute and personal. So of course I had to do a whole flag!

Whew!

Finished my Easter orders! Crazy because I thought my husband would be inside helping with kids instead of outside but oh well.. I do want grass someday out there so I am supporting his dirt shoveling!

I added purple to these orders, fun for Easter but i think now I almost prefere just the pink and yellow and green. But they were all fun to do! Some of the boxes not pictured had pink paper lining them, love the bright color.
Thanks for the orders friends! :)
HAPPY EASTER! Like my daughter said- "All the candy and treats dont have anything to do with the REAL meaning of Easter... but they sure are good!"

I think cinnamon rolls are a treat anytime of day! My kids love it when I get orders for these because it means a little leftovers for them :)
When I first started making them I used a favorite roll recipe but had a hard time getting the right consistancy with the cinnamon sugar- sometimes it seemed to just melt into the roll and leave the whole thing too bready. One day I was at the airport and had some time so I went to the Cinnabon shop and watched them roll out their cinnamon rolls and realized I needed a thicker mix for the insides, so I tried it and they just turned out so good- so thanks for having clear windows so I can watch you Cinnabon! I am not sure what they mix together but I stick with real butter, cinnamon and sugar.

Not just a box of chocolate!

Found some cute heart boxes (and saved a large chocolate box from last year) to fill with the mini cupcakes and little cake balls!

Tis the season!

Cake Pops are my new favorite thing! The "Bakerella" website has the cutest ideas- round balls of cake dipped in chocolate.... I decided to triple threat and make a snowman!

Mini cupcakes are a must have I think. They fly off the table at parties because, who cant eat a MINI cupcake?!? You get a delicious bite of frosting and cake and then you can move on to another flavor. These cupcakes were for the ladies at my church- and it was not just for Christmas, it was also a pre-Thanksgiving party as well, so that is why I had the pumpkin spice with cream cheese- the little cookie leaves were made with Royal Icing- I love the look and think it was worth the time.
